Overview

Exploring Abstraction is a self-study online course, delivered in weekly exercises over the span of 6 weeks.

The program teaches artists at any level and from any discipline how to better understand abstraction and radically improve their skills and confidence in abstract painting. 

As so many people are homebound as a result of the coronavirus pandemic, it's a wonderful opportunity to invest in personal and professional pursuits with online learning.

Students will learn to:

• Appreciate the work of some celebrated abstract painters
• Improve their skills at composition, mixing palettes in gray scale and color (both oils and acrylics), and evolving a work-in-progress
• Overcome their fears or feelings of being 'stuck' by acquiring new pathways for beginning a painting and techniques for improving their work
• Derive greater joy from their creative work as their confidence and talent blossom

Promotional Strategy

A free video workshop will be the cornerstone of your promotion. [The workshop is still in development, but details will be posted here closer to launch.]

The workshop will provide actionable value in itself, but will also be a gateway to introduce the course for those who want to dive deeper.

Enrollment for the course will open for a limited time following the free workshop.

The most important promotion will be to encourage your audience to sign up for the free workshop. However, you will also want to promote the course itself once enrollment opens ('open cart'). 

The more you promote, the more sales you will make!

She understands where and why students get stuck or frustrated and how to move them to the next level in their work with proven techniques and a nurturing heart.
